The idea
The full-season tournament started in September and most of its field is out. Mid-Season Survivor is a fresh one for everybody — in the first bracket or out of it, here since week 1 or here since this morning — played on exactly the same game. It is its own tournament: your full-season entries are untouched by it, and a Mid-Season entry is never drawn against one.
When you can enter
Entries are open now and close Sunday, November 15 at 1pm ET — the moment most of week 10 kicks off. Press Enter on the Mid-Season page once. Entering means accepting the official rules, is free, and enters nothing else.
Your packs
Entering deals 2 packs of 12, from series E — the late-season series, cut from the rankings as they stood mid-season — by exactly the procedure every pack is dealt by: your own client seed, the series’ published commitment, and ordinals 301 and 302. If you have earned the bonus pack, by your first referral or by the Discord pack, you are dealt a third at ordinal 303 — whether you earned it before entering or afterwards, so long as it is before entries close. They appear on the fair deal page and verify there. Each card carries its value — 6, 7, 8 per touchdown — from the same seed.
Each pack is one entry, held for the whole tournament: an independent run at the bracket. You start 7 from it in the tournament’s formations, and each player locks at their own club’s kickoff.
The qualifier
Week 10 is the only qualifying week. Every entry with a lineup is ranked on its week-10 score — then total yardage, then fewer plays — and the top 256 take the bracket. An entry that never posts a lineup is not ranked.
House entries play too, and people are seated first. 256 of the house’s entrants play week 10 on packs and lineups set by a fixed rule, and fill whatever slots people do not. While there is room every person who played is seated ahead of them — a place, not a better seed: once seated the field is ranked as a whole, and a bot that scored well outranks a person who did not.
The bracket
256 entries, 8 rounds of single elimination, one a week from week 11 to week 18. Each week your seven play the seven they are drawn against, on one clock; the higher score advances, then the greater yardage, then fewer plays, then the higher seed. Win and you trade one player with the entry you beat, as in the tournament; your lineup carries forward from week to week until you change it. Results stay blank on your dashboard until you press play.
Everything about the game itself — the field, the downs, the scoring, the locks and the trades — is in the Peffercorn Rulebook, and it is all the same here.
The prize
The champion takes home an authentic Nike Elite jersey of any player on their roster — the twelve their winning entry holds once the final is scored, trades included — in the size they choose. One is awarded, and only to a person: if a house entry wins the final, the house wins it and no jersey is awarded. The value stated for it, who is eligible, and what happens if a winner cannot be reached are in the Official rules. This page explains the game; that one is the contract.
